Our Beliefs
Trenholm Road is a congregation of the United Methodist Church, one of the largest Christian denominations in the world. Following the teachings of 18th century leaders John and Charles Wesley, we put a strong emphasis on God's grace and the call for Christians to put faith into action. We also affirm the foundational creeds and confessions of historic Christianity, including belief in the Triune God, the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the present and ongoing activity of the Holy Spirit, and the primacy of Scripture. Our Mission. At Trenholm Road, everything we do as a church centers on Jesus' call in Matthew 28:19 to "go and make disciples". To answer this call, we've written a mission statement to organize our ministry: "Making Disciples of Jesus Christ: Come and Worship, Grow in Faith, Share the Word, Go and Serve".
