Our Mission
Jesus commands his followers to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28.19). At Trenholm Road, everything we do as a church centers on this call to make disciples. We've even developed a mission statement to help us focus our work:

Worshiping together each week is very important to us. We encounter the living God through praise, proclamation, music, confession and reflection. But we also seek to incorporate an attitude of worship into our everyday life, so we approach every second of every day as an opportunity to worship. (Romans 12.1; Psalm 95; John 4.23-24) |

We strive for transformed hearts – not merely informed minds or conformed lives. Deep spiritual transformation occurs as we grow closer to God through the daily disciplines of reading Scripture, fasting, prayer, tithing, simplicity and solitude. (Romans 12.2; 1 Peter 1.13-15; Galatians 5.22-25) |

Faith was formed in us by learning from the faith stories of our spiritual mothers and fathers. As a community, we seek to understand how God is moving in our own lives so that we can in turn share our faith stories with others. (1 Corinthians 15.1; Philippians 2.12-13; 2 Timothy 1.5) |
