FAQs about Trenholm Road

Where is the church located, and where should I park?
We are located at 3401 Trenholm Road in Columbia, SC, about halfway between Gervais Street and North Beltline Boulevard.  You can find a map and more detailed driving directions here.  When you arrive, we have plenty of parking in our church lot, in an overflow lot just west of our property, and along Trenholm Road.  Click here to see a parking map.  

What is your worship like, and what should I wear?
We offer two distinct worship styles.  Our 8:30 and 11 worship services can be best described as traditional - we sing hymns, our preachers usually wear robes, and we have lots of stained glass in our sanctuary.  Our 11:05 Fountain worship service is more contemporary in feel - we have a band with guitars and drums, and we use video screens to lead worship.  All of our services last about an hour, and we typically offer the Lord's Supper on the first Sunday of each month.  Some people in our congregation like to dress in their 'Sunday best', but we want you to dress however you feel most comfortable - we care more about worshiping with you than what you look like!

What do I do with my kids?
At 9:45 every Sunday morning, we offer Sunday School for all ages.  During worship, we offer Children's Church for ages 4 and 5.  We think it's important for families to worship together, so we don't offer different worship experiences for children and adults. 

What if I have special needs?
Our entire facility - including our sanctuary - is fully wheelchair accessible.  There are elevators in the main building as well as in our Leisure Ministries building, and wheelchair ramps along the front of the church at the west end of the building.  We also have plenty of reserved handicapped spaces available in our parking lot.  During worship, our ushers are eager to help you if you need large print bulletins, large print hymnals or assisted listening devices.  Just ask us if you need anything at all!

Is Trenholm Road on television?
Yes! We broadcast our services every Sunday morning on WOLO-TV, our ABC affiliate in Columbia (channel 25).  Visit our television ministry page for more information, or to order a DVD of one of our broadcasts.
