Trenholm Road Library
The mission of our Church Library is to support the church’s ministry by providing informational and inspirational materials related to Christian life and religion. The Library is located on the top floor of the Leisure Ministries Building [download a campus map] and is available during all of the hours the Leisure Ministries Building is open. You can also access the library's online catalog anytime via the Internet - click the 'Online Catalog' icon to the right.
The Library contains approximately 2,000 books by outstanding theologians and authors. Teachers of all ages and individuals in any life stage will find a large diversity of resources on Biblical exploration, Methodism, Christian beliefs, other religions, church and society, prayer, decision making, relationships, family issues, and life’s challenges. The Children’s room contains biblical literature for young children as well as easy picture books with biblical themes and stories they can relate to.
Books are classified in the Dewey Decimal System and can be easily located through author, title, subject, and keyword searches in the easy-to-use Concourse computer library system. (Simple instructions are by the computer in the Library.) In addition the Library contains thought-provoking magazines, video cassette tapes, DVDs, and CDs on diverse subjects of interest to seekers in a Christian community.
Check-out is easy. Simply sign the card in the back of the book. Print your name, the date checked out, and your phone number. Leave the card in the check-out box by the door.
