“Love your neighbor as yourself,” Jesus taught his followers. Missions is a key ministry area through which we reach out to our neighbors—down the street and around the world—to share the love of Christ. The needs are many—physical, spiritual, emotional and social. And Trenholm Road is committed to reaching out and making a difference.
We are active in both local and international mission efforts. On a local level we support in various ways The Cooperative Ministry, Harvest Hope Food Bank, Epworth Children's Home, and Transitions-the new transitional housing facility for the homeless. Our Men's, Women's, and Sunday School groups also provide support and encouragement to many other missions in the Columbia area and around the State such as Killingsworth Home, Rural Missions at John's Island, Bethlehem Community Centers in Columbia and Spartanburg, HomeWorks, Habitat for Humanity, Washington Street Soup Kitchen, and The Salvation Army soup kitchen at Ebenezer Lutheran Church. These are just a few of the ways that Trenholm Road seeks to live out our call to "Go and Serve".
